Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
- minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hotel sales or group sales management
- catering experience preferred
- strong knowledge of hotel operations, event planning, and group booking processes
- excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- strong proficiency with sales and event management software

Job Duties
- Identify, target, and secure group sales opportunities within the assigned market segment, including SMERF and Military
- build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and event planners
- negotiate group rates, terms, and contracts in alignment with the hotel’s objectives
- follow up on inquiries, qualify leads, and convert them into confirmed group bookings
- collaborate with the operations team to ensure the smooth execution of group bookings, including room blocks, meeting spaces, catering, and event logistics
- monitor local competitors and industry trends to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
- maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and personalized service to clients before, during, and after events
- track sales performance, report on sales metrics, and provide regular updates to the Sales Director and senior management team
- attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build relationships and generate leads
- work closely with other hotel departments such as Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations to ensure group business goals are aligned and met
