Job Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and prior PMS experience
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights
- Ability to work on feet for eight hours or more
- Must be able to lift, push, reach for, carry 40+ pounds frequently
- Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask
- Three years or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent experience/training, associate's degree in Management or Hospitality preferred

Job Duties
- Work under direction of the General Manager
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with employees, coworkers, and guests
- Set goals for performance that coincide with Heritage's plans and vision
- Ensure compliance with safety, legal, operations, labor, and Heritage brand policies
- Direct team members toward accomplishing daily cleaning goals by 4:00 PM check-in time
- Obtain lists of vacant rooms and prospective check-outs to prepare work assignments
- Assign duties to workers and inspect work for cleanliness standards
- Report deviations to established standards
- Advise manager or desk clerk of rooms ready for occupancy
- Conduct interviewing, hiring, disciplinary, and termination actions as necessary
- Assign, train, mentor, and direct staff to foster exceptional guest experiences and a clean environment
- Maintain guest rooms and public areas in a clean, comfortable, and saleable condition
- Enforce procedures for lost and found items
- Resolve issues proactively
- Review occupancy and event levels to staff labor accordingly
- Oversee cleaning of carpets, drapes, windows, and upholstery
- Handle guest and employee concerns tactfully
- Review and maintain linen inventory and storage
- Implement ongoing housekeeping training programs
- Follow all safety and health regulations including PPE protocols
- Perform other duties consistent with the role as assigned
