Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of progressive hotel rooms management experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and guests
  • Knowledge of budgeting and labor cost management
  • Familiarity with safety, security, OSHA, and ADA policies
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead a multilingual and multicultural team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address guest requests courteously and efficiently
  • Two years or more of progressive hotel rooms management experience
  • Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
  • Possess high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, effective communication, and ability to improve the bottom line
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan and manage short- and long-term housekeeping operations including budgeting and labor cost management
  • Lead the housekeeping team through training, scheduling, and mentorship
  • Develop and maintain par levels for housekeeping and laundry supplies ensuring cost efficiency and availability
  • Maintain and execute inspection programs to uphold cleanliness and maintenance standards in guest rooms and public areas
  • Foster interdepartmental collaboration to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
  • Manage vendor relationships for linens, supplies, and equipment ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery
  • Adhere to and enforce safety, security, OSHA, and ADA policies and procedures
  • Recruit, coach, and counsel team members to uphold Hyatt's culture of care and professional excellence
  • Inspect guest rooms regularly to ensure VIP guests and special requests are handled in accordance with Hyatt standards
