Job Requirements
- Qualified by the International Executive Housekeeper's Association as a Certified Environmental Services Executive with valid certification until May 31, 2025
- Possess more than five years of specific healthcare environmental cleaning and management experience within the last eight years in a medical treatment facility with inpatient, outpatient and surgical specialties
- Advanced computer skills
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English language independently
- Ability to effectively communicate with management, co-workers, and government personnel
- Ability to understand and respond to emergency messaging systems
- Maintain confidentiality, privacy, dignity and safety of patients, visitors, and staff at all times
- Maintain physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods
- Be mentally alert at all times
Job Qualifications
- Qualified by the International Executive Housekeeper's Association as a Certified Environmental Services Executive
- Must possess more than five years of specific healthcare environmental cleaning and management experience within the last eight years in a medical treatment facility with inpatient, outpatient and surgical specialties
- Advanced computer skills
- Must be able to independently speak, read, write and understand English language
- Must be able to effectively communicate with MTF management and staff
- Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers
- Must be able to understand and respond to emergency messaging systems
- Must be able to effectively communicate with government personnel
Job Duties
- Formulates daily and monthly work schedules
- Interviews and hires new employees
- Responsible for jobsite expenses and budgeting
- Performs quality inspections and responsible for high standards
- Attends all required committee meetings
- Schedules and administers orientation for new employees
- Trains and corrects personnel on proper procedures and department trades as assigned
- Maintains all related records and paperwork for government agencies
- Responsible for departmental safety, security and conservation programs
- Performs monthly in service training sessions and performs annual reviews of all staff
- Orders supplies and equipment
- Interfaces with the local union representatives
- Ability to direct and adjust to emergent and/or unforeseen conditions
- Maintains good daily communications with the COR
- Implements changes to staffing, schedules, daily assignments when contract is modified
- Responsible for completion and timely submittal of contract deliverables
