Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- minimum one year of executive hospitality experience preferred
- excellent customer service skills
- bilingual communication skills preferred
- computer knowledge and/or experience preferred
- prior experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- prior experience as an Executive Housekeeper preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare monthly forecast for the Housekeeping Department with other departments to ensure no disruption to guests
- plan work schedules and room assignments for team members
- participate in recruiting and selection process of new team members
- conduct performance planning and evaluations for new hires
- monitor team members' performance and provide appraisals
- maintain personnel records for accuracy
- supervise and provide essential training for new team members in all housekeeping aspects including guest services
- ensure team members understand duties, responsibilities, and company policies
- conduct guest satisfaction inspections of public areas, guest rooms, corridors, restrooms, and laundry
- assist with annual budget preparation for the Housekeeping Department and manage expenses
- oversee cleaning supply orders, linen stock, and chemicals
- maintain inventory of supplies and enforce inventory/cost control procedures
- implement and manage hotel's key control system
- track lost and found goods and ensure proper team procedures
- handle guest complaints and maintenance of equipment
- conduct meetings with team members as needed
- ensure team members' uniforms meet company standards
- reinforce and maintain high safety and cleanliness standards
- assist with emergency and security procedures as needed
- promote good safety practices within hotel
- monitor preventive maintenance program to protect hotel assets
- perform other tasks to meet or exceed guest satisfaction
