Job Requirements

  • High school education
  • Relevant training and experience in hospitality or housekeeping
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds
  • Physical ability for pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
  • Good hearing, writing, and typing skills
  • Ability to obtain required licenses or certificates
  • Additional education preferred
  • CPR and first aid training preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Relevant training and experience in housekeeping management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hotel departments and functions
  • Good mathematical and computer skills
  • Ability to accurately use office and accounting software
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • CPR and first aid training preferred
  • Additional language ability preferred
  • Professionalism and adherence to company policies

Job Duties

  • Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff including counseling, termination, performance evaluations, training, and development
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget
  • Monitor performance against plan
  • Establish and maintain cost control systems for staffing, linen inventories, and cleaning supplies
  • Ensure quality services are rendered in meeting guest needs
  • Schedule staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy
  • Maintain room quality based on StepStone and hotel guidelines
