Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to bend, reach and climb stairs
  • Ability to work long hours and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to read, count, write and follow recipes accurately
  • Ability to stand, sit and drive a vehicle for long periods
  • Good hearing, visual, English speaking, memory, writing, reading, math and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant or hospitality management
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Proficient in financial management and budgeting
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and labor laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to train, coach and develop employees
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • Oversees overall operations and consistently enforces all company policies, procedures and standards
  • Ensures all government laws, rules and regulations are followed regarding wages, hours and sanitation
  • Ensures proper P & L management and communicates financial goals and results to the management team
  • Oversees financial operations including preparation of daily, weekly, period and annual projections
  • Achieves maximum sales and profits while maintaining excellence in operational standards and procedures
  • Maintains proper inventories and completes related accounting and administrative reports in a timely manner
  • Assists in recruiting, interviewing and selecting Assistant Managers and Shift Leaders
  • Oversees management team development with coaching and counseling
  • Works with management team to recruit, hire and develop restaurant staff
  • Implements advertising and promotions coordinated by the Marketing Department
  • Maintains strict safety and sanitation standards
  • Ensures employees receive proper training and formulates appropriate schedules
  • Maintains guest goodwill and positive public relations
  • Supports management team with complete guest satisfaction focus
  • Maintains professional appearance and adheres to uniform standards at all times
