Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or related field
- 8 to 10 years of experience in supervisory roles in entertainment or convention facilities
- Experience in contract negotiation, business law, labor relations, purchasing procedures, and personnel supervision
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and facility operating standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
- Availability to work extended and irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, booking software, CMMS, and incident management software
- Valid motor vehicle license
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of principles and practices in managing entertainment or convention facilities
- Knowledge of safety regulations and federal, state, and local laws
- Strong orientation towards hospitality and guest experience
- Knowledge of facility operating standards, maintenance, custodial, CMMS systems, and personnel management
- Skills in contract negotiation, business law, labor relations, purchasing, safety protocols, and supervision
- Ability to make decisions guided by policy and procedures
- Coordination and direction of varied administrative operations
- Ability to respond promptly to emergency situations
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent schedules
- Maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees, and patrons
- Flexibility to adjust to changing situations

- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
- 8 to 10 years of supervisory experience in similar facility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to manage a facility of similar size and type
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of AutoCAD, booking, CMMS, and incident management software
- Licensed to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
- Willingness to travel as required
Job Duties
- Implement facility policies and goals in accordance with management contracts and client objectives
- Assist in developing long-range plans and program objectives
- Lead capital projects ensuring timely completion and budget adherence
- Act as contact for key partners including Houston Texans and Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
- Prepare facility information for requests for proposals
- Review department reports and oversee implementation of changes
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, promoters, and tenants
- Ensure compliance with all codes, laws, ordinances, policies, and emergency procedures
- Implement procedures to maintain service standards and generate repeat business
- Review client and guest surveys and address challenges to improve experience
- Assist in preparation and oversight of annual and capital budgets
- Review and approve purchasing, travel, and promotional expenses
- Ensure continuous updates of emergency preparedness documents
- Serve as liaison for emergency response coordination
- Execute and ensure stadium policies comply with NFL best practices
- Conduct post-event operational and financial reviews
- Report event and facility updates at board meetings
- May perform other duties as assigned
