Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or operations management
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in distribution or logistics
- Proven operational efficiency in warehouses
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Experience with fleet management preferred
- Ability to lead teams through rapid change
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management
- MBA a plus
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in distribution or logistics
- Proven record of driving operational efficiency in warehouses
- Experience with fleet management is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships at all levels
- Strong financial acumen balancing cost optimization with service excellence
- Skilled at leading through change and building engaged collaborative teams
Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple distribution centers ensuring accuracy, safety, and service quality
- Lead new warehouse buildout and expansion programs
- Lead warehouse optimization including layout design, process improvements, and technology adoption
- Provide strategic oversight to fleet operations emphasizing route optimization, safety, and maintenance
- Establish and monitor KPIs for safety, cost control, service levels, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment
- Collaborate with IT, general managers, and vendors to implement advanced technologies such as robotics, WMS/TMS upgrades, AI forecasting, and fleet telematics
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Develop long-term strategies aligning operations with growth, capacity, and market expansion
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain to align operations with financial goals and customer demand
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on operational performance and strategic initiatives
- Inspire, coach, and develop leadership teams across warehouse and fleet management
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and transportation standards
