Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or a related field
- At least seven years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit food service operations
- Approval as a SCAD-authorized driver
- ServSafe certification
- Certifications demonstrating comprehensive understanding of food safety practices following GFSI standards and compliance with FSMA and regulatory requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to perform essential job duties satisfactorily
- Willingness to travel 10 to 20 percent
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Job Qualifications

- Experience in fine dining environments preferred
- Familiarity with SCAD’s culture and creative community preferred
- Culinary certification or advanced training preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee and manage restaurant operations across all SCAD dining locations
- Develop and implement operational processes aligned with strategic goals
- Plan menus and manage food inventory, purchases, and utilization
- Supervise and mentor a team of managers and culinary staff
- Analyze business performance indicators for growth, cost control, and service improvement
- Oversee pricing strategies by analyzing recipes, food costs, labor, and overhead
- Ensure compliance with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards
- Coordinate catering services for events and special functions
- Lead training programs for new hires and apprentices
- Uphold SCAD’s mission, vision, and values in leadership and service
