Job Duties
- Create and maintain campus-wide master calendar to ensure comprehensive, accurate, and timely communication of campus events and facility usage to university personnel and the general public
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive event management reservation system integrated across campus departments and facilities
- Provide logistical support to university-sponsored events in consultation with sponsoring departments
- Ensure all clients receive professional, timely, and efficient support throughout event planning and implementation
- Liaise with campus service providers and external vendors to coordinate event-related services and establish vendor relationships
- Serve as director of the Bell Cultural Events Center, overseeing its dual role as academic home for DFPA and premier event venue
- Manage the Cunningham Student Center in conjunction with the VP of Student Development as both a residential life hub and event venue
- Develop and maintain operating budgets and pricing structures for ECS, BCEC, and CSC
- Recruit new clients to maximize revenue generation
- Authorize contracts, usage agreements, invoicing, and expenditures
- Hire, supervise, and monitor performance of ECS personnel and student workers
- Serve on the university’s Emergency Operations Committee and maintain emergency preparedness protocols
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral and promote events through university and external channels
- Represent ECS, BCEC, and CSC within local, regional, and denominational organizations
- Provide supplemental event support during peak times and maintain flexible work hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
