Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least one year of medical receptionist experience preferred
- Experience with medical terminology required
- Proficient typing and accurate spelling required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with data entry and computer use
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to perform office-related duties
Job Qualifications

- Proficient in data entry and computer skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Experience or familiarity with CAM therapies preferred
Job Duties
- Answers multi-line telephone
- provides routine information to callers and patients
- takes messages and places pages
- Contacts patients by telephone to confirm scheduling information
- communicates patient schedules and changes to the appropriate staff
- Performs patient check-in and initial patient registration tasks
- ensures accurate completion of forms
- Collects patients' post charges and payments
- completes patient receipts timely
- Orders, monitors and stocks all paper supplies including retail items
- Processes incoming and outgoing mail and supply deliveries
- Files and maintains an orderly medical records system
