Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven success as head of kitchen operations in a high-volume upscale or resort restaurant
- Proven experience as Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager
- Strong passion for culinary excellence and wine knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to develop culinary teams
- Knowledge of systems, methods and processes for great execution
- Stable job history with upward career progression
- Ability to work full-time on site in Kansas City, MO
- Willingness to relocate to Kansas City, MO if not local
Job Qualifications
- Proven success as head of kitchen operations in a high-volume upscale or resort restaurant
- Proven experience as Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager in similar environments
- Strong passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge and service
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a culinary team
- Knowledge of operational systems, methods and processes for excellent execution
- Stable job history with upward career progression
Job Duties
- Lead a team of culinary professionals to deliver high-quality dishes
- Ensure compliance with proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Manage kitchen operations to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with Culinary Development team to execute menu items with excellence
- Develop and mentor kitchen staff to enhance team performance
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control systems
- Foster a superior guest and team member experience to drive sales and guest count
