Job Duties
- Menu development - creating and modifying menus to meet quality standards
- developing new dishes and seasonal specials
- hiring, training and managing kitchen staff
- manage kitchen inventory which includes ordering, receiving and storing food supplies
- oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
- motivate and inspire the kitchen team
- ensure staff adhere to food safety regulations and kitchen policies
- manage food costs and control waste
- maintain a safe dining environment
