  • Menu development - creating and modifying menus to meet quality standards
  • developing new dishes and seasonal specials
  • hiring, training and managing kitchen staff
  • manage kitchen inventory which includes ordering, receiving and storing food supplies
  • oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
  • motivate and inspire the kitchen team
  • ensure staff adhere to food safety regulations and kitchen policies
  • manage food costs and control waste
  • maintain a safe dining environment
