Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 years experience in culinary leadership
  • Experience in stadium or large scale catering
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Creative culinary mindset
  • Integrity and professionalism
  • Effective communication skills
  • Business management abilities
  • Physical capability to lift approx. 30-40 lbs
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Adherence to company uniform requirements
  • Ability to work in event operations across campus and stadium venues

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary Arts Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years in a lead culinary role
  • Experience with stadium or large scale catering events
  • Strong leadership abilities with passion for culinary arts
  • Creativity in customer satisfaction and flavor profiles
  • High integrity and professionalism
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to run a business as if owned personally
  • Exceptional knife skills and culinary techniques knowledge
  • Ability to teach culinary skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting approx. 30 lbs

Job Duties

  • Oversee and effectively manage all culinary duties to ensure flawless event execution
  • Plan, order, create menus, and execute event day food
  • Maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Produce a consistent product in high volume
  • Lead to ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen and food service areas
  • Develop, implement, and communicate creative menu items adhering to company standards
  • Manage financial goals and food cost while tracking the culinary budget
  • Purchase all food, dry goods, materials, and kitchen equipment while managing POs and budgets
  • Train, hold accountable, and schedule culinary staff
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations to drive sales and flawlessly execute events
  • Communicate interdepartmentally for full understanding of event logistics
  • Create new and innovative menus as needed
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding of new team members
  • Maintain overall kitchen and culinary team morale
  • Support venues across the Gas South Region and POP as needed
