Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- At least five years of related culinary leadership experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel extensively up to 100%
- Willingness to work 10 days on and 4 days off scheduling
- Residence within commutable distance to a major airport
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive wrist motions for extended periods
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work effectively with little supervision
- Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and client information
Job Qualifications
- Minimum five years' experience as an Executive Chef or Chef Manager
- Experience in dining service transitions and openings preferred
- Serve Safe certification preferred
- Choke Save certification preferred
- Allergen certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or Hotel/Restaurant Management highly desirable
- Certified Dietary Management program completion preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and culinary production software
- Proven ability to work under pressure in fast-paced kitchen environments
- Ability to train and motivate teams across multiple locations
Job Duties
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a matrixed organization
- Manage kitchen and all food production across multiple operations
- Implement regimented processes during facility transitions and new business openings
- Lead daily lineup and training to instill company culture and values
- Ensure compliance with culinary brand standards and HACCP food safety standards
- Develop and implement menus, prescribed recipes, and food tracking systems
- Oversee food and supply purchasing while adhering to product specifications and authorized vendors
- Schedule and supervise culinary department personnel
- Administer training and informational meetings to maintain service and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with Health, Wellness and Nutritional Directors
- Maintain regulatory compliance and complete daily/weekly financial reporting
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with residents and department heads
