Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least five years of related culinary leadership experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel extensively up to 100%
  • Willingness to work 10 days on and 4 days off scheduling
  • Residence within commutable distance to a major airport
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive wrist motions for extended periods
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively with little supervision
  • Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and client information

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum five years' experience as an Executive Chef or Chef Manager
  • Experience in dining service transitions and openings preferred
  • Serve Safe certification preferred
  • Choke Save certification preferred
  • Allergen certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or Hotel/Restaurant Management highly desirable
  • Certified Dietary Management program completion preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and culinary production software
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in fast-paced kitchen environments
  • Ability to train and motivate teams across multiple locations

Job Duties

  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a matrixed organization
  • Manage kitchen and all food production across multiple operations
  • Implement regimented processes during facility transitions and new business openings
  • Lead daily lineup and training to instill company culture and values
  • Ensure compliance with culinary brand standards and HACCP food safety standards
  • Develop and implement menus, prescribed recipes, and food tracking systems
  • Oversee food and supply purchasing while adhering to product specifications and authorized vendors
  • Schedule and supervise culinary department personnel
  • Administer training and informational meetings to maintain service and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with Health, Wellness and Nutritional Directors
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and complete daily/weekly financial reporting
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with residents and department heads
