Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 years of culinary or related professional experience
- 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field preferred with 4 years experience
- Positive attitude at all times

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Compliance with federal, state, and local laws and safety regulations

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 years of experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 4 years experience in culinary or related area
- Demonstrated leadership skills in food service and kitchen management
- Ability to manage food cost and operational efficiencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Capable of menu development and innovation
- Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance
- Experience working with vendors
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Responsible for selection, training, and development of culinary department personnel
- Review staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial goals
- Supervise and coordinate cooks and food preparation staff activities
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff
- Develop and enhance food products based on market research and guest needs
- Maintain quality and consistency of food delivery and standards
- Participate in long-range planning and support team goals through food and beverage profit and service performance
- Develop and implement purchasing and receiving guidelines and control procedures
- Establish and manage performance, budget, and team goals
- Communicate and enforce safety procedures and monitor compliance
- Manage department expenses including food cost, supplies, uniforms, and equipment
- Work closely with vendors to obtain high-quality products at reasonable prices
- Provide direction for menu development
- Coach and provide feedback to staff to improve service
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service
- Empower employees to deliver excellent customer service through training and clear expectations
- Control profit and loss elements and manage kitchen/restaurant operating expenses and budgets
