Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five years of executive-level culinary leadership in private clubs, resorts, or hospitality environments
- Mandatory food safety certification
- Proficient in menu planning and kitchen operations management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with front-of-house staff
- Aptitude for training and developing culinary team
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Detail-oriented with knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to maintain a visible leadership presence during operations
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Five plus years of luxury culinary experience as an executive chef or executive sous chef
- Successful experience in both a la carte and banquet operations
- Culinary arts degree from an accredited school preferred
- Certified executive chef or pro chef certification preferred
- Certification in food safety mandatory
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Strong financial and budgeting skills
- Ability to engage positively with members
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- Experience with Jonas POS software a plus
- Social media engagement experience a plus
Job Duties
- Provide strategic and hands-on leadership for all culinary operations at the club
- Engage actively with members and communicate the culinary vision
- Collaborate with and train culinary team daily
- Empower team and delegate appropriately
- Recruit and develop culinary staff
- Maintain high standards for food preparation and safety
- Partner with front-of-house managers to ensure cohesive member experience
- Keep current with culinary trends and continue education
- Maintain presence during busy periods
- Manage menu planning for all outlets and special events
- Monitor labor and food costs and financial performance
- Implement systems and technology for kitchen management
- Prepare budget data and take corrective actions as needed
