Job Requirements
- Safe food handling certification
- Experience in kitchen management or executive chef role
- Knowledge of budgeting and payroll management
- Ability to direct and motivate kitchen staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Familiarity with club point of sales systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in warm, noisy kitchen environments
- Capacity to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Safe food handling certification
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and club point of sales systems
- Excellent knowledge of back of house systems, ordering, and inventory
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Assist in the preparation of the club's annual food and beverage budget and financial goals
- Operate the kitchen within budgeted payroll and adjust as sales fluctuate
- Direct kitchen staff in meal preparation, creation, plating, and delivery
- Build and price all menus with assistance from food and beverage managers
- Develop standards to ensure consistency in food taste and presentation
- Ensure all restaurant staff are familiar with key ingredients, preparation, and taste of menu items
- Work closely with front of the house service team to ensure expedient ticket times, excellent food quality, and proper plate presentation
- Develop food and beverage sales and promotions as needed
- Obtain feedback on food and service quality, addressing customer problems and complaints
- Identify and introduce new culinary techniques
- Incorporate safe work practices and safe food handling standards
