Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar executive chef role within a luxury hotel or large-scale food service operation
  • Proven track record in launching culinary programs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of food safety standards
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an executive chef or in a senior culinary leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen management, and menu creation
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial plans
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
  • Exceptional guest service orientation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee all culinary operations including meal production, food quality, presentation, and compliance with safety standards
  • Create and implement new menus for all outlets in partnership with the Director of Food and Beverage
  • Monitor guest and client satisfaction, address concerns, and improve culinary offerings
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, local, and company health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • Perform general management duties such as budget management, forecasting, report generation, and departmental meeting facilitation
  • Develop and monitor team member performance through supervision, training, evaluations, scheduling, and recognition
  • Recruit, interview, and train new team members
