Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive culinary experience including supervisory roles
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting and cost controls
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent problem-solving and guest service abilities
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an executive or senior chef in a large-scale hospitality environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Expertise in menu development and knowledge of current food trends
- Demonstrated ability to manage culinary operations, budget, and profitability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification
Job Duties
- Direct and oversee all culinary operations including food production, quality, safety, team productivity, and profitability
- Create and implement innovative menus reflecting current trends and regional tastes
- Interact with guests and clients to monitor satisfaction and address concerns
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations
- Perform general management duties including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and department management
- Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, training, counseling, and evaluations
- Recruit, interview, and train new culinary team members
