Job Requirements

  • Passion for culinary arts with a desire for creativity and a strong production culinary background, ideally in healthcare or retail setting
  • Ability to develop trust and build strong client relationships while meeting client and company expectations
  • 3-5 years of Executive Chef level experience
  • Exceptional professional communication skills
  • Hands-on, innovative leadership approach to management
  • Passion for high-level customer service and relationship orientation
  • Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions within company guidelines
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing food service operations budget
  • Knowledgeable in compliance to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Minimum education requirement: associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum management experience: 2 years
  • Minimum functional experience: 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

  • Demonstrated experience supervising a culinary team and exceptional human resource and supervisory/management skillset

  • Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions within company guidelines
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

Job Duties

  • Lead, mentor, train, and inspire the culinary team across IL, AL, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing
  • Create and execute menus that reflect resident preferences, nutritional needs, and elevated dining standards
  • Continue to grow and enhance the Latitude Bistro with creative offerings, chef-forward experiences, and seasonal specials
  • Oversee food production planning, recipe compliance, cost control, and forecasting
  • Ensure all kitchens and service areas meet the highest standards of sanitation, food safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Actively engage with residents through tastings, feedback sessions, dining committee, and special events
  • Partner with the Multi-Service General Manager and leadership team to support a strong hospitality culture
