Job Requirements
- Passion for culinary arts with a strong production culinary background, ideally in healthcare or retail
- Ability to develop trust and strong client relationships while meeting expectations of client and Sodexo
- Demonstrated experience supervising culinary teams and exceptional human resource and supervisory/management skills
- 3-5 years of Executive Chef level experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Hands-on, innovative leadership approach
- Passion for high-level customer service
- Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions within company guidelines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in culinary or food service
- Minimum 2 years of functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
- 3-5 years of Executive Chef level experience in a recognized setting, concept, or company
- Exceptional professional communication skills
- Innovative and hands-on leadership style
- Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience
- Knowledgeable in food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Ability to develop trust and build strong client relationships
- Passion for high-level customer service and relationship orientation
Job Duties
- Lead, mentor, train, and inspire the culinary team across IL, AL, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing
- Create and execute menus that reflect resident preferences, nutritional needs, and elevated dining standards
- Continue to grow and enhance the Latitude Bistro with creative offerings, chef-forward experiences, and seasonal specials
- Oversee food production planning, recipe compliance, cost control, and forecasting
- Ensure all kitchens and service areas meet the highest standards of sanitation, food safety, and regulatory compliance
- Actively engage with residents through tastings, feedback sessions, dining committee, and special events
- Partner with the Multi-Service General Manager and leadership team to support a strong hospitality culture
