Job Requirements

  • Minimum education requirement - Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum management experience - 2 years
  • minimum functional experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
  • ability to develop trust and build strong client relationships
  • exceptional human resource and supervisory management skills
  • passion for culinary arts with a strong production culinary background, ideally in healthcare or retail
  • ability to work independently
  • strong financial management experience
  • compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of Executive Chef level experience in a recognized setting, concept, or company
  • experience supervising a culinary team
  • exceptional professional communication skills
  • hands-on, innovative leadership approach
  • passion for high-level customer service
  • ability to work independently and make sound business decisions
  • ability to manage multiple priorities
  • strong financial acumen
  • knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards

Job Duties

  • Lead, mentor, train, and inspire the culinary team across IL, AL, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing
  • create and execute menus that reflect resident preferences, nutritional needs, and elevated dining standards
  • continue to grow and enhance the Latitude Bistro with creative offerings, chef-forward experiences, and seasonal specials
  • oversee food production planning, recipe compliance, cost control, and forecasting
  • ensure all kitchens and service areas meet the highest standards of sanitation, food safety, and regulatory compliance
  • actively engage with residents through tastings, feedback sessions, dining committee, and special events
  • partner with the Multi-Service General Manager and leadership team to support a strong hospitality culture
