Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum management experience of 2 years
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Passion for culinary arts and creativity
  • Experience supervising culinary teams
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage food service operations budget
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation compliance
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Executive Chef level experience in a recognized setting, concept, or company
  • Experience supervising a culinary team and exceptional human resource and supervisory/management skills
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing a food service operations budget
  • Exceptional professional communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Passion for culinary arts with a desire for creativity
  • Ability to develop trust and build strong client relationships
  • Hands-on, innovative leadership approach to management
  • High-level customer service and relationship orientation
  • Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

Job Duties

  • Lead, mentor, train, and inspire the culinary team across IL, AL, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing
  • Create and execute menus that reflect resident preferences, nutritional needs, and elevated dining standards
  • Continue to grow and enhance the Latitude Bistro with creative offerings, chef-forward experiences, and seasonal specials
  • Oversee food production planning, recipe compliance, cost control, and forecasting
  • Ensure all kitchens and service areas meet the highest standards of sanitation, food safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Actively engage with residents through tastings, feedback sessions, dining committee, and special events
  • Partner with the Multi-Service General Manager and leadership team to support a strong hospitality culture
