Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a culinary leadership role
- Proficiency in food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday 10 00 am to 6 30 pm
- On-site work at 5455 La Sierra Drive Dallas Texas
- Physical ability to perform kitchen duties and manage operations
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an executive chef or in a similar senior culinary role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to model and promote a service and hospitality-driven culture
Job Duties
- Lead day-to-day kitchen operations while actively participating in meal preparation and service
- Plan menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of senior residents
- Manage food preparation ensuring high quality and presentation standards
- Oversee sanitation and food safety compliance throughout the kitchen
- Maintain inventory levels and manage vendor relationships effectively
- Develop, train, and supervise culinary staff fostering a collaborative environment
- Model a service-driven, hospitality-focused culture
