Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a culinary leadership role
  • Proficiency in food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday 10 00 am to 6 30 pm
  • On-site work at 5455 La Sierra Drive Dallas Texas
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen duties and manage operations

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an executive chef or in a similar senior culinary role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to model and promote a service and hospitality-driven culture

Job Duties

  • Lead day-to-day kitchen operations while actively participating in meal preparation and service
  • Plan menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of senior residents
  • Manage food preparation ensuring high quality and presentation standards
  • Oversee sanitation and food safety compliance throughout the kitchen
  • Maintain inventory levels and manage vendor relationships effectively
  • Develop, train, and supervise culinary staff fostering a collaborative environment
  • Model a service-driven, hospitality-focused culture
