Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an executive chef or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of menu planning and food safety standards
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate kitchen staff effectively
  • Experience in budgeting and cost control
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
  • Strong communication and training skills

Job Duties

  • Plan daily menus for community and special events
  • Schedule and coordinate work of chefs, cooks, and kitchen employees to ensure economical and technically correct food preparation
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in kitchen areas
  • Implement training on safety, sanitation, and accident prevention for food preparation employees
  • Develop standard recipes and techniques to assure high food quality and minimize costs
  • Exercise portion control and assist in establishing menu selling prices
  • Ensure proper staffing for productivity and quality standards
  • Control food and payroll costs to maximize profitability
  • Evaluate food products to maintain consistent quality standards
