Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or associate degree with equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years’ experience as an Executive Chef in hospitality
  • Current ServSafe Certification
  • Ability to work flexible hours including special events
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen equipment maintenance
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

  • Associate degree with equivalent experience considered
  • Minimum five years as an Executive Chef in hospitality
  • Current ServSafe Certification
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent understanding of food safety regulations
  • Experience in budget management and vendor relations
  • Ability to innovate menus and manage inventory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Assist kitchen and restaurant staff with back and front of the house operations as needed
  • Plan, prepare, and execute special events, banquets, and theme meals
  • Produce menus and recipes that use high quality ingredients within food and labor budgets
  • Maintain monthly and annual budgets for Food and Beverage department
  • Review and adjust menus for seasonal ingredients and cost changes
  • Manage purchasing standards and vendor relationships
  • Supervise culinary and food and beverage staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews
  • Ensure kitchen staff compliance with food safety and hygiene policies
  • Oversee inventory and control food production to minimize waste
  • Coordinate with marketing and activities for resident events
  • Conduct meetings with residents and families to assess satisfaction
  • Ensure equipment maintenance and proper handling
