Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or associate degree with equivalent experience
- Minimum five years’ experience as an Executive Chef in hospitality
- Current ServSafe Certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including special events
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen equipment maintenance
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities

- Associate degree with equivalent experience considered
- Minimum five years as an Executive Chef in hospitality

- Experience in budget management and vendor relations
- Ability to innovate menus and manage inventory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Assist kitchen and restaurant staff with back and front of the house operations as needed
- Plan, prepare, and execute special events, banquets, and theme meals
- Produce menus and recipes that use high quality ingredients within food and labor budgets
- Maintain monthly and annual budgets for Food and Beverage department
- Review and adjust menus for seasonal ingredients and cost changes
- Manage purchasing standards and vendor relationships
- Supervise culinary and food and beverage staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews
- Ensure kitchen staff compliance with food safety and hygiene policies
- Oversee inventory and control food production to minimize waste
- Coordinate with marketing and activities for resident events
- Conduct meetings with residents and families to assess satisfaction
- Ensure equipment maintenance and proper handling
