Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of prior experience in a culinary environment as a chef
  • Experience managing employees under collective bargaining agreements preferred
  • Experience working in banquet kitchen or high-volume restaurant preferred
  • Experience in luxury or fine-dining restaurant preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of health sanitation and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred
  • Previous experience working in a banquet kitchen or high-volume restaurant preferred
  • Previous experience in luxury or fine-dining restaurant preferred

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Knowledge of health sanitation and safety standards
  • Ability to work in fast-paced high-pressure environments

Job Duties

  • Owns and oversees daily kitchen operations including fiscal budgets labor productivity scheduling inventory control guest service
  • Executes policies and procedures oversees training programs ensures adherence to health sanitation and cleanliness standards
  • Manages human resources responsibilities fostering a positive work environment promoting teamwork performance feedback compliance with company policies and diversity commitments
  • Interacts with guests to ensure satisfaction and product quality addressing complaints and feedback appropriately
  • Collaborates with divisional directors and kitchen teams for seamless product delivery maintaining high knowledge of the property’s food and beverage products
  • Develops and innovates menus to meet high standards and guest expectations
  • Supervises kitchen staff to ensure consistent food quality and efficient service
