Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years progressive kitchen leadership experience
  • strong catering and batch cooking background
  • proven hands-on chef experience
  • knowledge of food trends, cost controls, sanitation, and presentation standards
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • commitment to client satisfaction programs

Job Duties

  • Plan menus aligned with company guidelines
  • ensure consistency in recipes, portions, and presentation
  • review production and waste logs
  • train and coach staff on food preparation, safety, sanitation, and equipment use
  • maintain cleaning, sanitation, and equipment schedules
  • manage inventory and control food/non-food costs
  • oversee use of leftovers in compliance with company policy
  • ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and development programs
