Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 years experience in culinary or food and beverage or related professional area
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 4 years experience in culinary or food and beverage or related professional area
- ability to lead and manage kitchen staff
- strong communication and organizational skills
- knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation protocols
- availability to work full-time at Sunny Isles Beach location
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 6 years of culinary or food and beverage experience
- or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 4 years of relevant experience
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- experience in budget management and cost control
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to train and mentor staff
Job Duties
- Lead kitchen management team
- provide direction for all day-to-day kitchen operations
- supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and food preparation workers
- develop and implement purchasing and receiving guidelines
- establish performance, budget, and team goals
- ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- manage employee training, coaching, and performance appraisals
