Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 years experience in culinary or food and beverage or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 4 years experience in culinary or food and beverage or related professional area
  • ability to lead and manage kitchen staff
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation protocols
  • availability to work full-time at Sunny Isles Beach location

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 6 years of culinary or food and beverage experience
  • or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 4 years of relevant experience
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • experience in budget management and cost control
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to train and mentor staff

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen management team
  • provide direction for all day-to-day kitchen operations
  • supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and food preparation workers
  • develop and implement purchasing and receiving guidelines
  • establish performance, budget, and team goals
  • ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
  • manage employee training, coaching, and performance appraisals
