Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years management experience
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in facilities or food services
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time with rotation schedules of 10 days on, 4 days off or 5 days on, 2 days off
  • Valid and clean driver’s license
  • Flexibility to work various hours based on business needs
  • Clear background check

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years management experience
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in facilities or food services operations
  • Strong culinary background with up-to-date knowledge of food trends and industry standards
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to coach and develop culinary teams in a positive, collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated passion for food quality, creativity, and consistent high-level execution
  • Financially savvy with experience managing food and labor costs while maintaining culinary standards
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Job Duties

  • Lead and support culinary operations across residential dining, retail food outlets, catering services, athlete fueling programs, and other campus dining environments
  • Oversee menu planning and execution, maintaining consistent quality, presentation, and adherence to Sodexo culinary and recipe standards
  • Manage purchasing, inventory, production forecasting, and food cost analysis to support operational and financial performance
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and regulatory standards
  • Utilize Sodexo’s automated inventory, ordering, and production management systems to support efficient kitchen operations
  • Coach, mentor, and develop culinary team members to strengthen skills, encourage innovation, and foster a collaborative kitchen culture
  • Partner with campus and account leadership to enhance dining offerings, support sustainability initiatives, and align with client and student expectations
