Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role
- demonstrated ability to lead diverse culinary teams
- strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- flexibility to adapt to evolving dining trends and resident needs
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in luxury resort, high-end restaurant, or senior living community
- expertise in diverse cuisines and large-scale menu planning
- strong leadership and team development skills
- creativity and innovation in culinary arts
- ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety credentials
Job Duties
- Lead and mentor a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff
- design and execute creative, seasonal menus catering to diverse tastes and dietary needs
- oversee multiple dining venues including fine dining rooms, casual cafes, and private events
- ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- manage all aspects of kitchen operations including budgeting, inventory, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- collaborate with hospitality team members to enhance residents' dining experience
- maintain vendor relationships and cost controls
