Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
  • minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role
  • demonstrated ability to lead diverse culinary teams
  • strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • flexibility to adapt to evolving dining trends and resident needs

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef in luxury resort, high-end restaurant, or senior living community
  • expertise in diverse cuisines and large-scale menu planning
  • strong leadership and team development skills
  • creativity and innovation in culinary arts
  • ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety credentials

Job Duties

  • Lead and mentor a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff
  • design and execute creative, seasonal menus catering to diverse tastes and dietary needs
  • oversee multiple dining venues including fine dining rooms, casual cafes, and private events
  • ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • manage all aspects of kitchen operations including budgeting, inventory, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • collaborate with hospitality team members to enhance residents' dining experience
  • maintain vendor relationships and cost controls
