Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years culinary experience
- Minimum 2 years management experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
- Experience in coaching and managing teams
- Ability to analyze performance metrics
- Understanding of supply chain and procurement processes
Job Qualifications
- At least 4 years of culinary experience
- At least 2 years in a management role preferred
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience required
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to simplify team agenda
- Advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices
- Experience managing people and solving problems
- Oral, reading, and written communication skills required
Job Duties
- Ensure culinary production aligns with Executional Framework
- Ensure proper culinary standards and food preparation techniques
- Manage culinary team including chef managers and hourly staff
- Train and manage culinary and kitchen employees in best practices
- Coach employees to achieve shared goals
- Reward and recognize employees
- Plan and execute team meetings and daily huddles
- Maintain staff records including training and performance data
- Develop and maintain effective client and guest rapport
- Interact directly with guests daily
- Communicate regional culinary and ingredient trends
- Deliver food and labor targets
- Focus on margin improvement and understand performance metrics
- Ensure efficient execution of daily menu culinary products
- Maintain integrity of Aramark food quality and safety standards
- Comply with waste management, standard menus, recipes, and labor standards
- Understand supply chain and procurement processes
- Implement the Food Framework
- Estimate food consumption for requisitions and purchases
- Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance
- Comply with Aramark SAFE food and Quality Assurance standards and occupational safety policies
- Comply with all applicable policies, rules, and regulations including safety and wage laws
