Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years kitchen management experience
  • ability to meet projected costs
  • professional appearance
  • computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • valid Food Handler's card
  • alcohol service permit if required
  • experience with hospitality scheduling
  • ability to obtain sanitation certification
  • knowledge of food preparation

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Managing and mentoring a culinary team of full-time and part-time employees
  • initiating employment actions including hiring, firing, and disciplining
  • providing ongoing training and support to event staff to promote a positive workplace
  • controlling food costs through effective measures such as portion control and inventory management
  • scheduling kitchen staff and managing labor costs
  • ensuring all food preparation meets quality, consistency, and safety standards
  • supervising kitchen operations including line set-up, prep, and equipment maintenance
