Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent high-level culinary experience
- Minimum 5-7 years progressive leadership experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- ServSafe Manager certification or equivalent
- Strong background in wellness-focused, performance, or athletic dining preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven success in budget management and labor control
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements relevant to athletic dining
- Experience leading and mentoring teams in fast-paced environments

- Demonstrated success in managing budgets, food cost and labor efficiency
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with cross-department collaboration ability
- ServSafe Manager certification or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Manage, develop and mentor a culinary team of 35 full-time and part-time employees
- Initiate employment actions including hiring, firing, and discipline
- Provide ongoing training, coaching and constructive feedback to event staff
- Ensure budgeted food cost controls through inventory management, portion control, and purchasing procedures
- Control labor costs with effective scheduling and cross-training
- Monitor food preparation and service to maintain quality, consistency, and safety standards
- Oversee maintenance of kitchen equipment and coordinate catered services
- Lead menu development with focus on athlete nutrition and wellness
- Collaborate with nutritionists and medical staff to align menus with health goals
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Organize kitchen operations including record keeping, food inventory, and employee scheduling
- Foster a positive and compliant employee relations environment
- Oversee production of staff meals ensuring they are healthy and timely
- Act as a hands-on leader working alongside the culinary team
