Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years kitchen management experience
- demonstrated ability to manage food and labor costs
- professional appearance
- proficiency in MS Office software
- valid Food Handler's card and alcohol service permit if applicable
- knowledge of employee scheduling in hospitality
- certification in recognized sanitation program
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to train and develop staff

- ability to prioritize and work independently
- flexibility to work variable schedule including nights and weekends
- willingness to travel to other venues during off-season
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Manage, develop and mentor a culinary team of 35 full-time and part-time employees
- initiate employment actions including hiring, firing and disciplining staff
- provide ongoing training, coaching and constructive feedback to event staff
- ensure budgeted food costs are met through portion control, inventory and purchasing procedures
- control labor costs by effective scheduling and cross-training
- oversee food quality, consistency and presentation in all kitchen preparations
- develop and maintain menus aligned with company standards
- monitor food preparation to meet recipe specifications and kitchen timings
- supervise line setup, prep and breakdown activities
- delegate tasks and coordinate kitchen operations including equipment maintenance and catered services
- organize staff skills training and departmental orientation
- maintain positive employee relations and teamwork
- ensure compliance with health, sanitation, safety and employment regulations
- manage kitchen record keeping including inventories and invoicing
- arrange employee schedules and ensure compliance with uniform policies
- promote teamwork and lead by example
- oversee production of staff meals ensuring quality and timeliness
