Job Requirements
- Minimum 4 years culinary management experience in fine dining environment
- Proven leadership and motivational skills
- Skilled in customer interaction and conflict resolution
- Creative with up to date knowledge of food trends
- Basic mathematical skills for budgeting
- Compliance with health standards
- Adherence to safety and security policies
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Experience training staff for high volume and quality production
- Computer proficiency
- Payroll and scheduling management experience
- Flexible to work weekends and holidays
- College degree or culinary certification preferred
- Valid food handler certification
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Skilled in using culinary tools and sensory evaluation
Job Qualifications
- At least 4 years of culinary management experience in a high-volume fine dining restaurant
- Proven culinary skills with leadership and staff development abilities
- Creative and knowledgeable about current food trends
- Basic math skills and ability to understand financial reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with computers
- Experience managing payroll and scheduling
- College education and/or culinary degree preferred
- Valid food handler qualifications as required by Oklahoma City and Oklahoma State
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job
Job Duties
- Manage efficient and effective kitchen and food production operations
- Ensure all Bob's Steak & Chop House policies and procedures are executed
- Monitor and control food costs and payroll budgets
- Design and implement daily menu features adhering to company standards
- Collaborate on capital expenditure planning with Food and Beverage Director
- Oversee purchasing, receiving, and inventory control processes
- Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff while maintaining high quality standards
