Job Requirements
- At least 4 years culinary management experience in high-volume fine dining
- Proven culinary skills with leadership and staff development abilities
- Capability to teach guest interaction and internal communication

Job Duties
- Assist General Manager in budgeting and control of overheads and food cost
- Collaborate with Food and Beverage managers on market potential and competitor analysis
- Adhere to Bob's Steak & Chop House standard recipes and create daily menu features
- Work with Food and Beverage Director on capital expenditure items
- Ensure smooth and effective day-to-day kitchen operation
- Maintain purchasing and receiving standards and test product quality
- Control food requisitioning and forecast volume to maximize profitability
- Create recipes and production methods
- Compile banquet menus when required
- Inspect food service sections during service to uphold standards
- Control equipment and schedule maintenance
- Stay informed on market trends and competitors' offerings
- Assist in promoting in-house sales activities
- Plan, organize and control utilization of food production staff and scheduling
- Interview, recruit, and train kitchen staff
- Maintain compliance with employment legislation
- Establish efficient office procedures for menu and purchase management
- Perform all department manager duties
- Participate actively in department meetings and task sheets
