Job Requirements
- Passion for fresh ingredients and attention to detail
- Experience in a leadership role within a busy high-volume kitchen
- Knowledge of seasonal cooking and regional Italian cuisine
- Ability to manage kitchen operations including budgeting inventory and cost control
- Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and evolve
- Capability to maintain high standards of food quality safety and cleanliness
- Willingness to work a schedule of five days per week typically 45 to 50 hours
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as an executive chef or similar leadership role in a high-volume creative kitchen
- Deep knowledge of seasonal cooking with a focus on regional Italian cuisine and PNW ingredients
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent understanding of kitchen operations budgeting inventory and cost control
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional culinary experience
- Ability to innovate and adapt to evolving culinary trends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Collaborate with the Culinary Director to develop and execute innovative seasonal menus that showcase the best of local PNW ingredients
- Lead and mentor your team setting the standard for quality consistency and professionalism in the kitchen
- Ensure the kitchen runs like a well-oiled machine from staffing and inventory to cost control and execution
- Bring fresh ideas to the table creating new dishes that reflect the vibrant diverse culinary scene of Seattle
- Perfectly execute current menus large parties and events that delight guests
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness safety and organization in the kitchen
