Job Qualifications
- High school education preferred
- culinary school or institute education preferred
- 5+ years management experience in a Michelin-caliber restaurant, hotel, or resort
- working knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons standards
- ability to operate food and beverage computer systems
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- strong problem-solving abilities
- ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- ability to operate culinary production equipment
- proficiency in English language
Job Duties
- Create, develop, and implement creative menus
- provide leadership for the Auro Culinary Department
- control labor and operating expenses through planning and budgeting
- assist with development and standardization of recipes
- ensure all food meets established specifications and standards
- assign tasks effectively for efficient labor use
- maintain knowledge of culinary industry trends
- oversee quality control, portion consistency, and food shipment monitoring
- recommend improvements to production and service methods
- communicate variances and maintain shift handovers
- maintain a sanitary, safe, and organized kitchen environment
- ensure kitchen equipment is clean and operational
- prepare annual budget and recommendations
- enforce health, safety, and sanitary regulations
- attend meetings and training sessions
- maintain relationships with guests and cultivate new patron relationships
- collaborate with Auro Restaurant Manager and Director of Food and Beverage
- maintain Forbes and Michelin standards
- partner with Front of House Management for alignment
