Job Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience and expertise as a chef in a high-volume hotel or restaurant operation
  • Must possess or be able to obtain within the first six months of employment a Food Protection Manager Certification through an ANSI-accredited agency
  • Proven experience in senior management role providing leadership and operational oversight for complex hotel or resort with responsibility for multiple outlets and workforce of 80+ employees
  • Demonstrated experience supervising management teams and personnel within a unionized hospitality environment
  • Ability to leverage advanced hospitality management systems
  • Minimum of five years of leadership experience managing people and team building
  • Ability to motivate others to achieve financial and organizational goals

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a chef in a high-volume hotel or restaurant operation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Food Protection Manager Certification within six months of employment
  • Experience in senior management roles with responsibility for multiple outlets and large teams
  • Proven leadership skills in managing people and team building

  • Demonstrated ability to meet financial goals related to food and beverage operations

Job Duties

  • Oversee culinary operations for multiple hotel dining outlets
  • Develop and implement innovative menus aligned with guest expectations and hotel standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage, train, and motivate a large team of culinary staff and management personnel
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall hotel operational goals
  • Monitor food and beverage financial performance and meet organizational budget targets
  • Maintain a positive work environment in a unionized workforce setting
