Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of culinary experience including leadership roles
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume, multi-outlet operation
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in executive chef or senior culinary leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to create innovative menus aligned with market trends
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting and cost control
  • Exceptional communication and guest interaction abilities
  • Relevant culinary education or certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee all culinary operations including production, food quality, safety compliance, team performance, policies implementation, and cost control
  • Create and implement new menus reflecting food trends and regional tastes in partnership with Director of Food and Beverage
  • Interact with guests and clients to monitor satisfaction, address issues, and improve service
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • Manage general duties like budget forecasting, reporting, department management, and meeting participation
  • Develop team member performance through supervision, training, scheduling, counseling, and recognition
  • Recruit, interview, and train culinary team members
