Job Requirements

  • 3 plus years of culinary experience preferably as a chef in a similar size operation with supervisory experience
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to safely operate complex food preparation machinery
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and extreme temperature environments
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Must be able to comply with flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Manage culinary staff including hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling
  • Ensure proper food planning, preparation, production, and control
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA and company quality standards
  • Develop and implement new menus and banquet themes
  • Monitor food costs, conduct inventory, and control labor
  • Enforce safety procedures and cleanliness throughout kitchen areas
  • Foster team performance and continuous improvement
