Job Requirements

  • excellent communication and listening skills

Job Qualifications

  • 3 plus years of culinary experience preferably as a chef in similar size operation with supervisory experience
  • extensive knowledge of menu development marketing cost and wage control
  • extensive knowledge of food products standard recipes proper preparation
  • excellent communication and listening skills
  • ability to analyze forecast and make judgments for payroll and production control
  • ability to operate complex food preparation machinery safely
  • ability to supervise large staff and accomplish timely goals
  • computer knowledge including microsoft products time keeping programs and basic IT such as point of sales system

Job Duties

  • oversee culinary staff to ensure proper food planning preparation production and control
  • assist Director of Food & Beverage in hiring training supervising scheduling culinary personnel
  • monitor team performance product quality and production flow
  • create and implement new menus based on food trends and regional tastes
  • audit food storeroom items ensure quality and health code adherence
  • monitor food costs and monthly inventory
  • enforce safety procedures cleanliness standards throughout kitchen areas
