Job Requirements

  • 10 years overall culinary experience in established restaurants or catering companies
  • At least 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, fine dining or luxury hospitality setting
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with authentic Italian cuisine
  • Culinary Arts degree or certification preferred
  • ServSafe certification
  • Food Safety Handler certification
  • Strong proficiency in financial management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with POS systems
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to coach and inspire teams effectively
  • Flexible schedule to meet demands of a dynamic, high-profile restaurant

Job Duties

  • Lead, inspire, and develop kitchen and service teams to uphold the highest standards of excellence
  • Design and execute seasonal menus that reflect authentic Italian culinary traditions while showcasing your creative vision
  • Manage recipe development, portion specifications, and preparation procedures in alignment with budgetary goals
  • Oversee purchasing, inventory control, food and labor cost management, and operational reporting
  • Ensure full compliance with health department regulations and company policies
  • Utilize financial acumen to manage P&Ls, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, mentorship, and team development
  • Provide regular coaching to the culinary team, nurturing their growth while thinking strategically about their future career aspirations within the company
