Job Requirements

  • 10 years overall culinary experience in established restaurants or catering companies
  • At least 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef in high-volume, fine dining or luxury hospitality setting
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with authentic Italian cuisine
  • Culinary Arts degree or certification preferred
  • ServSafe and Food Safety Handler certifications required
  • Strong proficiency in financial management
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and POS systems
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Flexible schedule to meet demands of a dynamic, high-profile restaurant

Job Duties

  • Lead, inspire, and develop kitchen and service teams to uphold the highest standards of excellence
  • Design and execute seasonal menus reflecting authentic Italian culinary traditions and creative vision
  • Manage recipe development, portion specifications, and preparation procedures aligned with budgetary goals
  • Oversee purchasing, inventory control, food and labor cost management, and operational reporting
  • Ensure compliance with health department regulations and company policies
  • Manage profit and loss statements, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Foster continuous improvement, mentorship, and team development
  • Provide coaching and career development guidance to culinary team
