Job Requirements

  • 10 years overall culinary experience in established restaurants or catering companies
  • At least 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, fine dining or luxury hospitality setting
  • Culinary Arts degree or certification preferred
  • ServSafe and Food Safety Handler certifications required
  • Knowledge of authentic Italian cuisine
  • Proficiency in financial management and operational software
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Availability for flexible scheduling including days, evenings, overnight, and weekends

Job Duties

  • Lead, inspire, and develop kitchen and service teams to uphold the highest standards of excellence
  • Design and execute seasonal menus that reflect authentic Italian culinary traditions while showcasing creative vision
  • Manage recipe development, portion specifications, and preparation procedures in alignment with budgetary goals
  • Oversee purchasing, inventory control, food and labor cost management, and operational reporting
  • Ensure full compliance with health department regulations and company policies
  • Utilize financial acumen to manage P&L, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, mentorship, and team development
  • Provide regular coaching to the culinary team, nurturing their growth and career aspirations
