Job Requirements
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Previous culinary experience or education
- Maintain a current Food Handlers card
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work the hours necessary to complete the job
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and long periods of standing
- Ability to adhere to deadlines, recipes, and product quality standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Previous culinary experience or formal education
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Positive attitude with a commitment to excellent customer service
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Manage daily kitchen operations including food production and staff supervision
- Train, schedule, and evaluate kitchen staff performance
- Enforce portion control and food cost management
- Order food products and kitchen supplies based on inventory guides
- Participate in department meetings and facilitate staff communications
- Conduct monthly inventory audits and assist with menu development
- Ensure food safety and compliance with all health regulations
