Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Hands-on chef leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of culinary trends, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technology
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to different units across Indiana
  • Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local health/safety regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • High-volume and complex foodservice operations experience strongly preferred
  • Catering and institutional/batch cooking experience a plus
  • Hands-on chef leadership experience required
  • Strong knowledge of culinary trends, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technology
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable
  • Willingness to engage in client satisfaction initiatives

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute menus according to established guidelines
  • Ensure recipes, portioning, and presentation meet company standards
  • Oversee daily production, waste logs, and taste testing for quality control
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation
  • Maintain cleaning and equipment schedules
  • ensure compliance by staff
  • Manage inventory and control costs while ensuring product availability
  • Properly utilize leftover food in line with company policies
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local health/safety regulations
  • Enforce company safety procedures, including incident reporting
  • Actively participate in meetings, staff development, and client programs
